Booking & Cancellation Policy
Transparent, fair, and secure guidelines for Riders and Stable Partners.
Welcome to Pyraride! We are committed to providing a transparent, fair, and secure booking experience for all our users, including our valued Riders (customers) and Stable Partners (stables).
Your use of our platform and the completion of any booking constitutes your full agreement to these terms. Please read this policy carefully.
1Booking Policy
1.1 Individual Booking
A booking for a single rider is confirmed immediately upon successful completion of the online payment.
1.2 Group Booking ("Smart Link Reservation")
To maintain the integrity of our individual rider rating system, all group bookings must have each spot assigned to a registered Pyraride user.
Group Booking Details
- Rider Assignment: The group "Leader" initiates the booking but is required to assign each horse/spot to a specific, registered user account. It is not possible to book "3 spots" without identifying the riders.
- Payment Options: The Leader can choose from:
- • Pay for All: The Leader pays the full amount for the entire group.
- • Split the Bill: A "Smart Link" is generated for each individual to pay their own share.
- • Customize Payment: The Leader can choose to pay for specific members (e.g., themselves and one friend) while others pay their own share via the Smart Link.
- Booking Confirmation (Important):
Spots are NOT held or temporarily reserved during the payment process. A group booking is only confirmed when the last member of the group successfully completes their payment. If a horse or time slot becomes unavailable before the last person pays, the booking will fail, and any members who have already paid will be automatically refunded.
2Cancellation Policy (For Online Payments)
This policy applies only to bookings made using our electronic payment gateways (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Vodafone Cash).
2.1 Tier 1: Safe Cancellation
More than 48 hours in advance
Outcome: The customer is fully refunded.
2.2 Tier 2: Medium Cancellation
Between 24 to 48 hours in advance
This fee is used to partially compensate the Stable Partner for the slot.
Your Refund: For the remaining 50% of your payment, you have two choices:
2.3 Tier 3: Late Cancellation
Less than 24 hours in advance
Stable Protection
Our first priority is to protect our partners. The Stable's full share (e.g., 80%) is paid to them as if the ride occurred.
Rider Courtesy
So you don't lose everything, Pyraride sacrifices its entire commission (e.g., 20%). This amount is automatically credited to your Pyraride Wallet for a future booking.
3The "Golden Opportunity" Re-booking Feature
This feature applies only to Tier 3 (Late Cancellation) scenarios:
When you make a late cancellation, your spot is automatically relisted on Pyraride as a "Last-Minute" deal.
IF another rider books and pays for that spot:
- Pyraride will take its normal commission from the new sale.
- The remaining amount (the original stable's share, e.g., 80%) will be added to your Pyraride Wallet as a "Bonus Credit".
Result: Your wallet credit can jump from 20% (our sacrificed commission) up to 100% (full ride value). This is a "chance" to recover your funds, not a guarantee.
4Cash Payment Policy ("Earned Privilege Model")
We understand some users prefer to pay in cash. However, to protect stables from "No-Shows" (fake or abandoned bookings), cash payment is an earned privilege, not a default right.
4.1 New Users
The "Pay at Stable (Cash)" option is Disabled for all new accounts.
To prove seriousness and unlock this privilege, a new user must complete their first booking using an Online Payment method.
4.2 Trusted Riders
After a user successfully completes their first online-paid booking (and attends the ride), the "Cash Payment" privilege is automatically unlocked for their account.
4.3 The "No-Show" Penalty
Cash payment is a privilege built on trust.
If a "Trusted Rider" books a ride using the "Cash Payment" option and fails to show up (a "No-Show"), or makes a late cancellation that harms the stable:
- Action: The stable will report the No-Show. The system will permanently revoke the "Cash Payment" privilege from that user's account.
4.4 Closing the "New Account" Loophole
If a user (who lost their cash privilege) attempts to bypass this penalty by creating a new account with a new phone number:
- The system will identify them as a "New User".
- As a "New User", they will be forced to pay online again.
- This model ensures that no user can repeatedly book and abandon cash rides.
5A Note for Our Stable Partners
Online Bookings
Your revenue is 100% protected. If a rider cancels late (Tier 3), you receive your full share.
Cash Bookings
You have a choice in your dashboard:
- Disable Cash Bookings: Receive 100% guaranteed, pre-paid online bookings only (0% risk).
- Enable Cash Bookings: Increase your potential sales by accepting cash payments only from Pyraride's pre-vetted "Trusted Riders".
The Cash Risk: By enabling option (2), you acknowledge a minimal risk. If a "Trusted Rider" defaults, Pyraride will penalize them, but we cannot compensate you financially for that ride as no funds were ever collected.
